Discover Hidden Worlds is a concept design for an Amazon Books retail location in Hilton Head Island, SC. 

Books act as portals to alternate worlds where surroundings
have gone awry from the everyday norm. Places of magic and
wonder, curiosity and surprise, even fantasy and whimsy are
just a crack of a cover away.
An abstraction of this idea could be seen as the passing
through of a plane to reveal a field of paths. Each path
leading to a new discovery, unique in its own right, but
inevitably tied to the reality in which it contrasts. Every path
leads to a space that has a narrative separate from the next.
The dichotomy of reality askew is the driving inspiration to
